Contributors

annual_heat_demand: <results>/{shapes}/annual/heat_demand_twh.parquet Annual useful heat demand in TWh, scaled from countries to shapes. This table contains the following columns: - `end_use`: cooking, hot_water or space_heat. - `category`: commercial or households - `year`: year the demand applies to. - `shape_id`: exact shape ID as seen in the input `shapes.parquet` case. - `heat_demand_twh`: annual demand in TWh.

heat_pump_cop: <results>/{shapes}/hourly/heat_pump_cop_pu.parquet Shape-aggregated heat-pump coefficient of performance in p.u. with a harmonised UTC hourly index.

edh_api: <resources>/user/edh_api.txt Earth Data Hub API key used to download ERA5 weather data. The file must contain only the API key.
shapes: <resources>/user/{shapes}/shapes.parquet Region-specific polygons to process. The parquet file must include the following columns: - `shape_id`: unique identifier for each output region. - `country_id`: ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country code. - `shape_class`: shape context. Only rows with `land` are processed. - `geometry`: polygon geometry.
